Parents Should Accompany Small Children Swimming It was announced this week by Mr. Earl Guss, personnel manager of Burlington In dustries, and Earl Shoaf, recreational director, that all children six years of age and under will NOT be permitted to go swimming in the local pool unless they are accompanied by an adult. They feel that due to the extremely large number of children using the pool this year, it is necessary to enforce this rule as a safety precaution for the children. Should there be any doubt concerning the age of an unattended small child, the bath house attendant or lifeguard will ask the child to bring a note from their parents. Sgt.
